USS Constitution

USS Constitution is a heavy frigate launched in 1797.  She is the world’s oldest war  vessel still afloat.

Most noted for her actions during the War of 1812, when she defeated five British warships.
Constitution was retired from active service in 1881 and served as a receiving ship until designated as a national museum in 1907.
